NEW PLAYERS ALWAYS WELCOME AT GROVE RUGBY -- Go on: Give it a Try for 2020/21!
For youth teams, the 2020/21 season starts on the first Sunday in September at 10.00 am. New players are always welcome, and there is no rush to commit or pay anything. September (and training sessions, generally) are particularly good, because you can simply drop by the club at around 10.00am on a Sunday. This applies to Mini squads (U5-U12) all month and Juniors (U13-U17 boys and U13-U18 girls) most Sundays (check individual Junior team fixtures, in case playing an away match in the second half of the month).
If you have questions or want more information, you can contact the coaches directly (go to the team pages on the website), or use the club's online contact form. The Club's three Senior squads are also always welcoming of new players -- of all ages and abilities. Grove is a very friendly and competitive community club, i.e. everything that is good about grassroots sport.
Some teams start pre-season fitness and skills training in July and August, so you might be able to start sooner!
